In my years of being alive I have played thousands if not millions (!) of games but after the many hours of gaming you end up realising what makes a good one. It's not just about fancy graphics and other do da but the ability of making you fall in love with it, so here is my list of Top 10 Action Games!
10. Far Cry 2To be honest I wasn't too sure whether to put this in the top 10 list because don't get me wrong, it's a very good game but I felt the only thing that made this game excel was the realism. The scenery, the guns and fire were all so beautiful but it didn't make me want to play it again after completing the story. Also I remember attempting to play the multiplayer but never felt I could quite get into the feel of it, which is always a let down in any game of this standard.
9. Smackdown vs Raw
Now with the SVR series I'm going way back to the PS1 with "Smackdown 2". What is done best by the game series, is to give players the oppurtunity to have a good 'banter' session while you smash your friends over the head with a steel chair which "busts" the character open.
But the reason it has got no higher because it's multiplayer capabilities are like a super let down. It was a miracle to get into a match where there was no lag present but when you did manage to, it would begin glitching out. Comparable to the FIFA servers in 08/09...

Good zombie games are kinda difficult to find but this is one all the gaming fans need to check out. You may be wondering why I only gave it a number 8 if it's so good. Well that's simply because I haven't had the chance to what it is fully capable of. Still the times I have played it the play was intense with zeds left, right and center!
7. Red Dead Redemption
Yee Ha! That was my rather impressive cowboy impression in text form... Anyway, this is very got in the top 10 because of the playability, the hours you can spend on it. There is actually so much to do, the second best from Rockstar... after 'number 1' that is.
You can hunt and then skin animals, ride into towns just shooting up the place, help random strangers being attacked by bandits, become a bounty hunter and even gamble!
The plot line and gameplay mechanics is your typical Grand Theft Auto style, with average graphics but with focus on good playability.

6. Batman: Arkham Asylum/ City
There is only ONE reason this game has taken number 6 and that's because of the fighting. You can even leave a comment for Senor Film or Politica asking them what my reaction was because I was talking to them while playing.
I was so excited by it I spent 90% of the time adding "POW" and "BAM" into the fighting scenes, trying to string together neck braking combos and all sorts!
