Olympics 15/06/12: Rafael Nadal included in Spain team

Spain aren't holding back the big guns for this summer's London Olympics. Spain have included Rafael Nadal as part of their Olympic team. The seven-time French open winner and current champion after winning on Monday, is in both the singles and the doubles team.

Rafael Nadal will partner with Marcel Granollers for the doubles competition. The other Spainish doubles pair is made up of David Ferrer and Feliciano Lopez. On July 31st, the composition for mixed doubles will be decided.

The world number two is not the only big gun in the star-filled Olympic team. Nadal is also joined by David Ferrer, who reached the French Open semi-finals, world number 11 Nicolas Almergo and world number 16 Fernando Verdasco

The competition gets underway on July 28th at Wimbledon.
